The Mexicans should pay for it

Good idea!

They should make the jumpers pay for it all though - have everybody (including people who use the internet) assessed on a yearly basis and those deemed most likely to top themselves can pay most.

Re: Jumper at Chadwell Heath
Why dont they make train platforms like the jubilee line with the doors infront of the doors that only open once the train is stationary

completely eradicates people jumping in front of a tube train

And quite astonishing it hasnt been done already

Purely a pub associate, so wouldn't surprise me if he's exaggerating.

I mean not that many people jump on the central line surely?

Do agree that they should either jump off of buildings though instead of making a stranger feel guilty for mowing them down.

Never fails to not make me laugh though hearing the unsympathetic groans of the train passengers when they know they're going to be late home, with no thought for the bloke chopped in two on the track.

Pretty sure I read/heard somewhere if as a driver you hit 2 jumpers you are medically retired so surprised you know someone who has hit 3 Grunmos and still working in the job.

Re: Jumper at Chadwell Heath
That's not an accident though, that is someone killing them self in front of you. Not sure I suggested they deserved sympathy though, did I? I just find it strange that someone could witness someone killing themselves like that and look at it as a nice way to get some extra holiday, that's all.

Re: Jumper at Chadwell Heath
Accidents happen, though I doubt I'd care too much if some twat jumped in front of a train or car I was driving.

Different if it's your fault or you now down an innocent, but bollocks to anyone commiting suicide, no sympathy for them.

Re: Jumper at Chadwell Heath
I would then suggest that he probably has more mental health problems than the jumpers.

My father in law works for the underground, not a driver, but a couple of his friends have had people jump in front of their train. One of them quit, couldn't stand the thought of seeing that again. Another still has counselling. I would imagine that how most normal people would react.

Re: Jumper at Chadwell Heath
Depends on the driver Trev.

I know one who's killed 3 people and I wouldn't say he loves it, but he loves getting the free time off of work which is given to them after it happens.

One of my punters when I worked in the bin, jumped under a train and lost both of his legs. God told him to do it, which he later rationalised as the Devil pretending to be the boss.

Re: Jumper at Chadwell Heath
Best thing of course is the train running over you doesn't always kill you outright, as the wheels and the weight of the train stop you from bleeding out.

That is until they reverse the train off you that is, then you die in hideous pain.

Have to sympathise with the driver of the train don't you ?

Must be horrifying running over a person.

Selfish cunts. They should go home and take an OD.

Re: Jumper at Chadwell Heath
My mate killed himself at barking station a couple of years ago, but at least he was unselfish and done it on a Thursday at 11.30am on the grays loop line.

Most mental funeral ever, those turban wearers were getting coached into the crematorium, bloody hundreds turned up!.

Fuck you joginder!!!
